In one of the directions, Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters discovered equipment of the occupiers, which the Russians tried to hide near the landing. However, the enemies were unable to hide – the Russian equipment was eliminated. The work was skillfully done by the soldiers of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Cossacks, as well as servicemen from the 74th separate reconnaissance battalion. The Ukrainian Ground Forces reported this on December 7 on Facebook.
As you know, the Solntsepek system was developed to destroy enemy personnel, infantry, light armored vehicles and supply equipment. Its flamethrower system consists of 24 flammable rocket charges placed in cassettes. These missiles are launched simultaneously, forming a wide salvo at the point of impact.
Let us recall that at the end of November, operators of the Special Operations Forces discovered in the Kherson direction the Russian TOS-1A Solntsepek flamethrower system, which daily fired at the positions of the Defense Forces at the bridgehead in Krynki. Enemy equipment was destroyed with the help of attack UAVs.
