Russian Su-35S fighter jets accompanied Putin throughout the flight to Abu Dhabi.
The President of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, arrived on a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Throughout the flight to landing in Abu Dhabi, the Russian president was accompanied by four Su-35S fighter jets. Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov reported this to the Russian media.
“For the air support of the presidential plane, special flight permits were obtained from the states on whose territory the flight was conducted,” he said.
The Russian Ministry of Defense published a video of Putin’s plane being escorted.
It was noted that Russian fighters with standard aviation weapons of various classes provided air support along the entire flight path of Putin’s plane during the international flight.
“The Su-35S flight took off from an operational airfield in difficult weather conditions with heavy rain and gusts of wind. The fighters were piloted by first-class pilots,” added the Russian Ministry of Defence.
We remind you that on Wednesday, December 6, Putin arrived on a visit to the UAE. The Russian President said that relations between the countries “have reached an unprecedented high level,” and the UAE is Russia’s main trade partner in the Arab world.
