To this day, the operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult. The Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in seven directions, the General Staff reported in an evening report on Saturday, December 2.
It is indicated that since the beginning of the day, 69 military clashes have occurred. The enemy launched three missiles and 15 air strikes, carried out 18 shelling with MLRS on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the direction of Kupyansky The Russians conducted offensive operations in the areas of Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Ivanovka and Stelmakhovka, Lugansk region. The defense forces repelled seven attacks. The enemy launched an airstrike in the Petropavlovka area. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Dvorechnaya, Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Ivanovka, and Berestovoe.
Directed by Liman The enemy unsuccessfully attacked the Serebryansky forestry area of the Lugansk region. About 10 settlements were damaged by enemy artillery and mortar shells, including Nevskoye, Belogorovka in the Luhansk region and Torskoye, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamennoye, Spornoye, Razdolevka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut The Russians conducted offensive operations in the Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Klishchievka and Andreevka areas of the Donetsk region. 15 attacks were repelled here. About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Orekhovo-Vasilevka, Chasov Yar, Bogdanovka, Klishchievka, New York, Donetsk region.
In the direction of Avdeevsky the enemy advanced unsuccessfully in the areas east of Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoy, Avdeevka, Severny, south of Tonenky, Pervomaisky, where the Defense Forces repulsed 20 attacks. About 10 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar shells, including Severnoe, Stepnoe, Avdeevka, Karlovka, Pervomaiskoe in the Donetsk region.
Directed by Maryinsky the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Marinka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region. 9 attacks were repulsed there.
The enemy launched an air strike in the Pobeda area. Georgievka, Marinka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka were under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the direction of Shakhtarsky the enemy carried out unsuccessful attacks in the areas southeast of Ugledar and west of Staromayorsky. About 10 settlements were damaged by shelling, including Vodyanoye, Ugledar, Prechistovka, Urozhainoye in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Zaporozhye The Russians tried unsuccessfully eight times to restore their lost positions in the areas south of Robotiny, west and northwest of Verbovoy. About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar shelling, including Poltavka, Malinovka, Gulyaypole, Robotino, Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye region.
In the direction of Kherson The cities of Kherson and Ochakov, Nikolaev region, came under artillery shelling.
In turn, the Defense Forces continued to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, Kherson region. Our warriors inflicted heavy losses on the enemy.
Within 24 hours, the missile forces hit four enemy artillery systems.
