The second group of Ukrainian military personnel was trained in Germany on the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system. This was said by the commander of the multinational training command, Lieutenant General Andreas Marlow, Deutsche Welle reported on Saturday, December 2.
He noted that 70 Ukrainian soldiers and officers underwent training at one of the air force bases in Germany for six weeks.
The military noted that a level of personnel capability has been achieved that will allow Ukrainians to independently work with this air defense system and carry out combat missions.
It was noted that experienced Ukrainian officers took part in the exercises, many of whom had experience working with Soviet S-300 systems.
Let’s remember that Germany is preparing a second package of military aid for the winter for Ukraine, which, in particular, provides for the transfer of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.
