Ukrainians in Brussels took mass action in support of their country’s European integration, organizing a human chain of thousands of people.

Around the European Commission building in Brussels, Ukrainians held a human chain, advocating for giving the country the status of an EU member candidate. The corresponding video on Monday, June 13, was published by Radio Liberty.

This is how Ukrainians in Brussels requested for Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership.

Those present held Ukrainian flags in their hands and shouted “Ukraine is Europe”.

It will be recalled that, two days earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, visited Kyiv. After talking with President Volodymyr Zelensky, he said the EC would end its discussion with a conclusion on the status of an EU candidate for Ukraine by the end of next week.
