The enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, fires at populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers on the border of state of Ukraine. About 10 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Znob-Trubchevskaya, Klyusy in the Sumy region; Veterinary, Volchansk, Gatishche, Malaya Volchya, Kharkov region.
The enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Sinkovka, northeast of Petropavlovka, Kharkov region, and Stelmakhovka, Lugansk region. The Defense Forces repelled six attacks in this direction. The invaders carried out air strikes near Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Kupyansk, Kurilovka, Kharkov region. The enemy, with aviation support, carried out unsuccessful attack operations near Stepnoye, Novokalinovoe, east of Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka, south of Tonenkoye, Pivnichnoye, Pervomaiskoye, Donetsk region, where the Defense denied Forces the 20 attack. About 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, in particular, Ugledar, Vodyanoye, Prechistovka, Zolotaya Niva, Urozhainoye in the Donetsk region.
The enemy unsuccessfully tried five times to restore the lost position near Rabotino, Zaporozhye region. Also, defenders of Ukraine repelled five enemy attacks west of Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region. More than 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Levadnoye, Charivnoye, Malaya Tokmachka, Rabotino, Malye Shcherbaki, Kamenskoye in the Zaporozhye region.
Kherson and Tyaginka, Kherson region, came under enemy artillery. The defense forces are still holding positions on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region and continue to fire at the enemy.
During the day, Defense Forces aircraft carried out two strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, and two more on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems. The units of the missile force hit three control points, two railway munitions and an area where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
As we have already written, another Russian general has self-destructed in Ukraine. The deputy commander of the 14th Army Corps of the Russian Federation, Major General Vladimir Zavadsky, was killed.
