President Vladimir Zelensky is in 20th place on the list of the most influential people in Europe, according to the American publication Politico. However, he won the Dreamers category. The publication published its rating on Tuesday, November 28.
This puts Zelensky on a par with Winston Churchill, Martin Luther and other famous people who have the ability to “change the course of history not with the power of their army or with the power of their economy, but with the power of their words.”
As Politico notes, Zelensky inspired Ukrainians to fight back, and Western partners to provide effective financial and military aid.
Zelensky’s leadership was “so effective” that he was able to achieve the unthinkable until recently – pushing Ukraine to the forefront of EU and NATO membership.
