On Monday, November 27, the parties will release the last groups of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. The truce and exchange agreement includes the release of 50 Israeli hostages and 150 Palestinian prisoners.
In the previous three days, Hamas had released 39 Israelis under agreement (and another 19 hostages under separate agreements), and Israel had released 117 Palestinians. Thus, if nothing has changed, 11 Israelis and 33 Palestinians should be fired on Monday.
The agreement provides for the possibility of continuing the truce in Gaza if Hamas continues to release hostages, and the group yesterday said it was ready to do so.
Meanwhile, billionaire Elon Musk is arriving in Israel, who only 12 days ago found himself at the center of another scandal due to the fact that he responded approvingly to a tweet with anti-Semitic overtones. Musk will meet with Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
On November 15, Musk supported the author of a tweet on his network, X, which outlined the conspiracy theory of “large replacement theory.” According to this theory, Jews and leftists are hatching a worldwide conspiracy to replace the white populations of Europe and North America with immigrants from southern countries.
“It’s really true what you said,” Musk, who has 164 million subscribers on his network, responded to this conspiracy theorist.
Even the White House condemned this remark, and several of the world’s largest companies suspended advertising on the former Twitter.
