Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics witnessed a massive Russian drone attack on Ukraine and sat in a bomb shelter in Kyiv for six hours. He spoke about it at the press conference of Grain from Ukraine.
“Today we witnessed the largest Russian attack with drones in Kiev. I had the opportunity to stay in the shelter for six hours. And next to me was the Prime Minister of Lithuania,” said the Latvian president .
According to him, by shelling Ukraine on the night of November 25, Russia did not achieve its goal, but this attack showed that the Western allies should do “everything possible to give the Ukraine a large number of air defense systems, ammunition and military equipment.”
We remind you that on the night of November 25, Russian troops massively attacked Kyiv with drones. As a result of falling debris, there was destruction and casualties in several places in the city. KGVA published a photo of the consequences.
According to the Air Force, air defense destroyed 74 of 75 enemy bombs fired in Ukraine today.
