The air defense forces repelled an attack by Russian Shahed-type kamikaze drones. The drones flew in groups. Drone debris fell in Pechersky, Goloseevsky, Dneprovsky, Solomensky districts. The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko announced this on Telegram.
In the Solomensky district, as a result of falling UAV debris, a kindergarten, a residential building and non-residential premises caught fire. Two people were injured, including an 11-year-old child. She has an acute reaction to stress. Both doctors provided assistance at the scene.
In a residential building in the Solomensky district, due to the fall of Shahed debris, destruction occurred on the second floor of a five-story building. Rescuers are trying to free two women from the rubble.
And in the Goloseevsky district, a fragment of a Russian UAV fell on a four-story residential building.
After the shelling in Kyiv, 77 residential buildings and 120 institutions were left without electricity. The Ministry of Energy explained that this morning during a drone attack in the capital, the air line was cut off. Restoration work is currently underway.
Let us remind you that the Office of the President stated that throughout Ukraine they will increase the number of mobile groups to combat Russian “martyrs”. Bankova noted that mobile groups have already proven their effectiveness.
