Slovakia’s leader, Zuzana Caputova, persuaded her Czech counterpart to make concessions and agree to Robert Fico’s visit.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico’s visit to the Czech Republic was accompanied by scandals and almost became a problem in the relations between the two countries. Prague was not satisfied with the behavior of the representative of Bratislava. This was reported by the Czech publication Novinky.cz.
Fico proposed a date for the visit that did not suit President Pavel.
In addition, the proposed date did not suit the leaders of the upper and lower houses of parliament, Milos Vystrcil and Market Pekarov Adamov.
For several days Pavel thought about whether he should agree to this visit. However, the leader of Slovakia, Zuzana Caputova, nevertheless convinced him to make a concession.
As we have already written, the war in Ukraine is a “frozen conflict” and it cannot be solved by sending weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Fico said after a meeting with his Czech colleague Petr Fiala in Prague.
