We remind you that law enforcement officials have exposed a large-scale criminal scheme in which the leadership of the State Special Communications Service is involved. The former head of the State Service for Special Communications, Yuriy Shchigol, and his deputy, Viktor Zhora, are suspected of illegally seizing government funds worth more than 62 million hryvnias. The money was earmarked for the purchase of equipment and software. Officials developed a scheme with the owner of a group of companies. To do this, they attracted two controlled companies, and kept the purchase secret.
As reported, yesterday HACS decided to take businessman Roman Koval, a person involved in a scheme in which the former head of the State Special Communications Service, Yuri Shchigol, took part.
Shchigol himself was removed from the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters.
