The court opened bankruptcy proceedings for UIA

The lawsuit in the Economic Court of the city of Kyiv to declare Ukraine International Airlines bankrupt was filed by state-owned Ukreximbank on October 31.

Today, November 22, the Economic Court of Kyiv opened bankruptcy proceedings against Ukraine International Airlines (UIA). This was reported by Economic Truth.

As a result of the meeting, bankruptcy proceedings were opened for UIA, and the court recognized the bank’s monetary claims. Arbitration manager Tatyana Nosenko was appointed administrator of the UIA estate. The decision is reportedly due to be published on November 23.

It was previously reported that the property of Ukraine International Airlines, the largest in Ukraine before the start of the full Russian invasion, is being sold at auctions by the state-owned enterprise SETAM.
