It was noted that a convoy of 23 trucks with humanitarian aid provided by the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan left today from the territory of Sumgait Technological Park.
The humanitarian cargo includes more than 900 thousand meters of electrical cables and wires, as well as 18 transformers and transformer substations.
According to the order of the country’s President Ilham Aliyev, in the near future it planned to send additional shipments of electrical equipment worth $7.6 million to Ukraine as part of humanitarian aid.
As reported, on October 30, 555 thousand meters of electric cables and wires were sent from Azerbaijan to Ukraine to restore a stable electricity supply.
Let’s recall that in the summer, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliev announced the expansion of the aid package to Ukraine, which will include a machine for mechanized mine clearance.
