Russian-Indian naval exercises are taking place in the Bay of Bengal. This was reported by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

The purpose of the exercises is “the comprehensive development and strengthening of cooperation in the naval field between Russia and India, jointly combating global threats and ensuring the safety of civil shipping in the Asia-Pacific region .”

The exercises will continue till November 22.
