Statements by the Polish side about the passage of humanitarian aid and dangerous goods do not correspond to reality. Ukrainian government members have recorded numerous instances of fuel tanks and humanitarian aid standing in queues. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Sergei Derkach on November 19, European Pravda reports.
According to him, this information was transferred to Polish colleagues. Now Kyiv is waiting for an answer to how these cases correlate with statements about the unhindered crossing of such cargo.
Let us remind you that on November 6, dozens of Polish carriers began to block three border crossings from Ukraine. Polish drivers are demanding the introduction of commercial permits for Ukrainian companies to transport goods, with the exception of humanitarian aid and supplies for the Ukrainian military.
Due to a strike by Polish carriers, Ukrainians have been blocked at checkpoints for more than 10 days and cannot enter Ukraine. Yesterday, November 19, it became known that a Headquarters to help Ukrainian drivers was created on the Ukrainian-Polish border, the purpose of which is to provide carriers with food, drinking water, medicine and fuel.
