Many cases were recorded of tanks with fuel and humanitarian aid lined up.
On the Polish side of the border, strikers are preventing trucks carrying humanitarian aid bound for Ukraine from passing through checkpoints. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Sergei Derkach.
According to him, the statement about the alleged passage of trucks with humanitarian aid and dangerous goods by Polish carriers “does not correspond to the truth.”
“We have recorded many facts when tanks with fuel and humanitarian aid are standing in the queue. We are waiting for an answer as to how this relates to the statements about the unhindered passage of such cargo,” said Derkach.
He added that 12,000 trucks were blocked at the Krakovets-Korchevaya checkpoint yesterday, the same number of trucks in front of Dorogusk, and 500 trucks at Rava-Russkaya-Grebennoye.
As reported, on Sunday morning, around 4,600 trucks were piled up at the Polish border due to blocking traffic by Polish carriers.
We remind you that on November 6, a strike by Polish carriers began on the Polish-Ukrainian border. They are demanding the abolition of the transport visa-free regime for Ukraine. On some days, queues are tens of kilometers long.
