Russian invaders lose from 20 to 30 vehicles every day during hostilities. Therefore, the occupiers decided to make up for their losses by robbing residents of the temporarily occupied Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

This was reported today, November 18, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
The corresponding decision was confirmed by a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 07/31/2023 No. 2059-r. According to this order of the Kremlin, all enterprises that were “nationalized” by the occupiers are obliged to transfer equipment free of charge to the all-Russian pseudo-social movement “People’s Front “For Russia”” under a donation agreement, notes the Central Tax Service.
It is noted that this pseudo-public organization is a propaganda project of the Kremlin, which acts as a plot and goal to demonstrate “national support” for military actions. Its task is to simulate the voluntary transfer of materiel to the occupying forces both from Russian territory and from the WTO.
Among the equipment seized by the invaders:
- mopeds, motorcycles and scooters;
- cars;
- buses;
- trucks;
- trailers (semi-trailers) for vehicles;
- tractors for agriculture and forestry;
- crawler bulldozers and motor graders.
The CNS notes that the two-wheeled vehicles on this list can often be seen recently in front-line videos.
Considering that these funds, which are extremely rarely on the balance sheet of enterprises, the occupiers resorted to withdrawing them from garage cooperatives and private households, the Russian occupation administrations previously recognized them as “mismanaged property,” the Central Tax Service notes. “Vehicles are also seized from citizens who are accused of collaborating with the Ukrainian defense forces or from those whose movable property was seized by Russian law enforcement agencies.
The Russians are increasingly using two-wheeled vehicles to move personnel to protect themselves from being hit by Ukrainian artillery and FPV drones.
Also, the use of civilian equipment allows Russian propaganda to pass off the destruction of such vehicles as an attack on the civilian population, the CNS notes.
