On November 18, the head of state signed decrees No. 758/2023 and No. 759/2023, which put into effect the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council “On the application and amendment of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).” Control over the implementation of this decision is entrusted to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and the decree comes into force from the date of its publication. This was reported on the president’s website.
Sanctions were imposed against more than 100 individuals and 37 legal entities. The restrictions apply for 5 and 10 years, respectively.
In particular, the sanctions list includes Dmitry Sablin, Dmitry Svyatash, Dmitry Tabachnik, Yuri Kit, Mykola Azarov, Sergey Aksenov and Oleg Tsarev.
Let us recall that on November 15, the European Union agreed on the 12th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation, which will be imposed against another 120 individuals and legal entities – representatives of the Russian military, defense and IT sectors, as well as “other important economic operators.”
