The fate of Ukroboronprom in the total procurement volumes of the Drone Army is constantly growing. The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection has signed contracts for hundreds of drones, which should be manufactured by the end of the year. The head of the State Special Communications Service, Yuriy Shchigol, stated this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, since August, since the signalmen signed the first contract to this day, the share of Ukroboronprom has increased from one to several hundred UAVs that have already been contracted.
Shchigol emphasized that Ukroboronprom is now producing weapons that it has not produced for ten years – these are FPV drones and high-range drones.
Let us recall that at the beginning of November, General Director of Ukroboronprom German Smetanin stated that a new Ukrainian kamikaze drone, the record combat range of which is 1 thousand km, was launched into mass production.
