The general list of places of temporary residence of IDPs was prepared based on information received from the regional military administrations and the KGVA.
A list of temporary places of residence for IDPs will be included in Ukraine. International donors will pay for the renovation of these establishments. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of Ukraine.
All facilities used to accommodate internally displaced persons before September 7, 2023 are included in the appropriate list of the relevant region and city of Kyiv. However, in order for facilities to be included on the list, on the day of monitoring they must have space for 10 or more people.
The Ministry of Reintegration prepares a general list of places of temporary residence of internally displaced persons (IDPs) based on information received from the regional military administrations and the KGVA. This is important because international donors are considering financing renovations specifically for properties to be included in this list.
According to the Minister of Reintegration, Irina Vereshchuk, it is necessary to make places more convenient for displaced people.
“Even now these institutions do not meet the approved requirements, they should not be closed. In such cases, we need to work together to provide decent living conditions for the displaced,” she noted.
We remind you that from November 1, the rules for processing payments to internally displaced persons applying for such assistance for the first time have changed. To apply for payments to IDPs, one person from the entire family must now apply, instead of each family member separately.
As reported, since the beginning of 2023, the state has paid UAH 126 million in compensation to entrepreneurs who hired internally displaced people. The government introduced a program to encourage businesses to hire internally displaced people in April 2022.
