Yesterday, November 14, a video was distributed in Odessa Telegram channels in which employees of the regional recruitment center, together with law enforcement officers, handcuffed a man. After this, the man was forced into the car. The reason given was that the person liable for military service did not want to accept the summons. The press service of the State Bureau of Investigation reported this on November 15.
It is noted that the DBI is investigating this incident. Bureau employees opened criminal proceedings for abuse of official powers (Part 5 of Article 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, Part 2 of Article 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Law enforcement officers questioned all participants in the incident and witnesses. They also deleted the relevant videos and administrative materials.
Let us remind you that in Uzhgorod, in the middle of the night, the military mobilized a bus driver who was taking children from Vinnitsa to competitions. He and other men were kidnapped from the Monada hostel. At the military registration and enlistment office, the man’s phone was taken away and he was forbidden to call his family and coach. After passing the VLK, he was immediately sent to a training center in Chernigov.
