The document, initiated by House Speaker Michael Johnson, does not provide financial aid to Ukraine.
The US House of Representatives at its next meeting has adopted a budget to finance the government for two months without aid to Ukraine. The initiative was presented by House Speaker Mike Johnson. This is discussed on the website of the American Parliament.
The bill was supported by 336 congressmen and opposed by 95. It provides an extension of funding for the US government after November 17, when the previous temporary budget expires.
The US government will now have funding until January 19th. However, the document does not provide money in support of Ukraine and Israel.
As a reminder, Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said the joint package containing aid to Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan and the border will be considered by the House after Thanksgiving on November 23, when senators from both parties negotiated border policy.
As already reported, the US House of Representatives approved temporary funding for the government, which will avoid the so-called shutdown. The White House tried to include a compromise of $6 billion for Ukraine in the draft budget until mid-November, but this initiative did not get enough votes.
