The speaker of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Alexander Shtupun, spoke about this on air at the national telethon today, November 7, the Ukrinform agency reports.
Near Avdeevka, as well as in the Tauride direction as a whole, the total losses of the enemy in manpower in the operational zone of the Tavria OSUS increased again and over the past 24 hours amounted to 583 people. This is precisely a consequence of the fact that the Russian leadership continues to push light infantry forward, almost without covering it with equipment, he emphasized.
Shtupun reported that today in the Avdeevsky direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault operations in the areas:
- Stepnogo;
- Avdeevka;
- Thin;
- Pervomaisky.
In total, 13 attacks were repelled here.
At the same time, enemy aviation is quite active. In particular, 10 airstrikes were recorded near Avdeevka. At the same time, cases of refusal to go on the offensive by some units of the Russian occupiers are recorded.
He noted that the number of enemy attacks near Avdiivka has not decreased, but it is difficult for the enemy to work with equipment, so infantry is sent forward.
As for the situation in the Marinka area, 13 attacks were repulsed here, the enemy suffered losses and retreated, Shputun noted.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the invaders carried out unsuccessful assault operations in the Staromayorsky area.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the Russian occupiers did not carry out offensive actions, but they shelled more than 15 settlements, including Gulyaypole, Volshebnoye and Orekhov.
