The enemy hit the regional center presumably with Onyx and Iskander-M missiles. The center and a mothballed industrial building were hit, respectively. The blast wave damaged several multi-storey residential buildings and a museum in the historical part of the city, classified as a UNESCO heritage site. The head of the Odessa OBA Oleg Kiper reported this on Telegram.
The enemy also launched kamikaze drones of the Shahed-131/136 type across the region, targeting the port infrastructure of Odessa. The airmen were able to destroy 15 UAVs. However, the hit damaged warehouses, unloading special equipment, and cars with grain. The fire was quickly extinguished.
As a result of the night attack, five people were wounded; doctors recorded shrapnel wounds in all victims. They were hospitalized.
At night, the enemy also sent an Kh-31P anti-radar missile at Kherson. As a result of the explosion, a five-story residential building was damaged. There has been no information about casualties yet.
Meanwhile, the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on Telegram that during a night attack of the occupiers in Odessa, a naval and boat crew of the Navy destroyed two kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136 type.
In addition, on the night of November 5 in the Nikolaev region, air defense forces and equipment destroyed a Russian X-59 cruise missile.
Air defense also shot down an enemy drone over the Dnepropetrovsk region at night. The enemy UAV was destroyed over the Pavlograd region.
Let us remind you that on the afternoon of November 5, the Russians attacked the Odessa region and Dnepropetrovsk region with missiles. The occupiers from the Black Sea sent an anti-radar missile Kh-31P to the Odessa region and a guided Kh-59 missile to the Dnepropetrovsk region. In the Odessa region, an infrastructure facility was hit. Three employees were injured.
