Ukraine has significantly increased its own production of shells, but it is still not enough to meet all the needs of our soldiers.
The Ukrainian military-industrial complex is actively increasing the production of all kinds of weapons in order to be less dependent on its allies and their military assistance. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba announced this on Sunday, November 5, Welt reports.
He noted that Kiev understands that if an opponent of aid to Ukraine becomes the president of the United States, Kyiv will no longer be able to count on the support it has now.
“Regarding possible events in 2024 (after the US presidential election – ed.), we have to wait and see. But we are preparing because we cannot rely only on American support,” said Kuleba.
The head of the diplomatic department noted that Ukraine is currently investing a large amount of money in its own production of all kinds of weapons.
“We are significantly increasing the amount of weapons production and militarization of our economy,” Kuleba said.
It was previously reported that a demining machine was created in Ukraine.
It has also been reported that the Ukrainian military has found a way to combine British Storm Shadow and French Scalp cruise missiles with old Soviet aircraft.
