Some rally participants, who were allowed into a specific location, attempted to enter the base through the fields, prompting mounted police and riot squads to use pepper spray and water cannons.

In Turkey, a group of protesters tried to go to the American Incirlik air base in Adana, wanting to protest against Israel and the United States. Police used pepper spray and water cannon to disperse the crowd. reports NTV.

The organizer of the protest is reported to be the Humanitarian Fund for Human Rights and Freedoms (IHH).

Police blocked off streets and roads around the base.

The group was allowed to hold a rally in a designated area, but as the convoy approached the air base, some participants tried to enter the base through fields, where police and riot squads used pepper gas and water cannon.

Recall that Turkish President Erdogan said that Hamas militants are not terrorists and called on other countries to apply pressure to “bring the state of Israel back to common sense.” Erdogan later called Israel an “occupier,” after which Israeli diplomats left Turkey.
