The incident occurred today, November 1, in the village of Peski-Radkovskiye, Borovsk community, Izyum district.
According to preliminary data, a man born in 1988 stumbled upon an explosive device in his own yard. It was probably a PFM-1 Lepestok anti-personnel mine. As a result of the explosion, the man’s left toe was injured. The victim is in the hospital, the report says.
In addition, today in the Kharkov region a mini harvester exploded on an anti-tank machine. The event occurred around 3:20 p.m.
During field work near the villages of Andreevka and Pokrovskoye, Donetsk community, Izyum district, a John Deere combine harvester exploded on an enemy anti-tank mini. Information about the presence of victims is being clarified, the department notes.
The State Emergency Service urges citizens to be as careful as possible and always remember the high mine danger.
