The police arrested a counterfeiter while selling a batch of fake currency. The National Police reported it.
A 43-year-old resident of Artsyz was known to be involved in illegal activities. The man himself produced counterfeit banknotes of the national currency of Ukraine with a value of 500 UAH, which he sold for 150 UAH per bill. The counterfeiter prints two sides of the bill, glues them together, and uses flip pens and pencils to bring the bill into “marketable” form.

At the defendant’s place of residence, law enforcement officials seized laptops, ink, paint, glue, colored pencils, a blade, a home-made device with ultraviolet tape for checking banknotes, experimental samples of counterfeit banknotes with a value of 500 UAH, fax paper, and rough notes.
The detainee was informed of the suspicion. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is decided.
