In the Russian city of Nizhnekamsk, a priest of the Church of the Holy Righteous John of Kronstadt brutally killed and dismembered his wife. This was reported by the Russian TG channel Mash.
“According to our information, the priest Mikhail Zubarev first stabbed his wife and then cut her into pieces. He hid the woman’s head in the refrigerator, where their common children found it,” the report said.
It is noted that the main version of the murder is called jealousy.
Cleric Mikhail Zubarev moved to Kazan from the Murmansk region. In 2016, he was awarded the right to wear the pectoral cross (one of the iconic clergy awards) for faithful work for the good of the Church. Since 2019, he has headed the prison ministry department of the Chistopol diocese. According to representatives of the Tatarstan Metropolitanate, Zubarev has been on sick leave since October 11, Mash wrote.
