In the new academic year, children will not be expelled from educational institutions for non-attendance. This was stated by Minister of Education Sergei Shkarlet on the air of the telethon on Thursday, June 9th.

“No child shall be expelled from an educational institution if he or she does not participate in the full-time process because of parental doubt about the safety of a particular educational institution. Context of child safety, teacher safety,” aniya. he.

According to the head of the Ministry of Education, representatives of the State Emergency Service will inspect educational institutions for the availability of shelters, and in the autumn will open only safe institutions.

“Today, we must conduct an audit of all educational institutions regarding the readiness of shelter facilities, reception and ensuring a safe educational process. … The State Emergency Service has a clear standards for shelter facilities, ”the minister said.

At the same time, Shkarlet noted that she understands parents ’desire for the educational process to take place offline.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Education said that 26,000 teachers had left Ukraine abroad because of the war.
