In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group of troops “Tavria” in the Avdeevka direction, the Russian occupiers do not abandon their attempts to cordon off Avdeevka, our soldiers staunchly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy, the message says.
The enemy’s offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Tonenko, and Pervomaiskoe in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. In the Maryinsky direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the Marinka and Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region. Here Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 15 attacks of the invaders.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the Kleshchievka area. Our soldiers continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and consolidate on the achieved lines.
In the zone of responsibility of the OSV “Khortitsa” in the Kupyansky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of the settlement of Sinkovka, Kharkov region.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting damage to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
During the day, Ukrainian Armed Forces aviation carried out 19 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, and another one on the Russian anti-aircraft missile system.
Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ missile forces hit an air defense facility, five areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, nine artillery assets and six other important Russian targets.
