Russian troops assigned to a military base in the city of Valuiki, Belgorod region, on the border with Ukraine, are facing shortages of food, clothing and equipment, Reuters reported.
Interceptions of Russian military communications regularly indicate major supply problems for the Russian army. It turned out that Russian soldiers lacked everything, from food to uniforms.
Not enough even in Russia itself
Thus, the Russian military assigned to a military base in the city of Valuyki, Belgorod region, on the border with Ukraine, is faced with a shortage of food, clothing and equipment, reports Reuters.
The mother of one of the soldiers sent to fight in Ukraine said she had twice gone to Valuyki since February to bring food for her son’s unit due to lack of rations.
According to him, some soldiers in the military unit had boots with dropped soles and canvas jackets with cotton lining, which could not be heated.
Local resident Olga Lukina, whose husband serves in the aggressor’s country’s intelligence unit, said intelligence officers lack drones and night vision equipment, while other units need food. , diesel fuel, and “somewhere to wash and launder their clothes.”
Another resident of Valuyki, Lyubov Zazharskaya, said the soldiers asked him to wash and iron his clothes, because the laundry at the base could not cope.
Reuters analyzed local public and chats. In late April, soldier Rafael Aliyev wrote to one of them about the need to fix a car damaged by shrapnel during the fighting.
“Russia’s Ministry of Defense has no spare parts,” his message said.
In a comment to the agency, the soldier said it was possible to wait a month for spare parts from the aggressor country’s Ministry of Defense, which is why the occupiers periodically turned to volunteers for help.
There was not enough refrigerator for the corpses
Melitopol occupiers are urgently looking for additional freezers and industrial refrigerators to store the bodies of the destroyed Russian military, as the city’s meat processing plant is full of corpses, the press service said. of the intelligence service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported.
“Currently, the corpses of Rashists who died in the battle in the direction of Pologi – Gulyaipole are actively being brought to Melitopol,” the report said.
According to intelligence, on June 6, the Russian military arrived at the Aron-M enterprise and studied its cold storage rooms. The equipment is deemed fit for conversion into a mortuary. The company management was informed about the decision to store the bodies of the occupiers free of charge.
The intelligence emphasizes that the number of Russian military bodies is growing in the occupied territory, not only because of heavy frontal losses, but also because the military leadership is trying to hide the true extent of the losses. Therefore, the so -called “dosed” shipment of bodies to the Russian Federation and the maximum extension of this process in time is carried out.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total combat losses of Russian troops as a result of the military aggression from February 24 to June 9 reached nearly 31,700 personnel.
