In Kherson, as a result of Russian shelling, a fire broke out on the top floor of one of the city’s most popular libraries.

The press service of the Kherson Department of Internal Affairs reported this today, October 30.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters who quickly arrived at the scene. No people were injured as a result of this strike, the statement said.
The OVA also reported that an elderly woman was killed as a result of night shelling of the city. In addition, some townspeople found themselves locked in their own homes.
Thus, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that 29 residents were evacuated from the house hit by the rocket:
- four residents of the house were evacuated using a ladder truck;
- another 25 people were evacuated through the stairwell.
In the apartment where the shells hit, emergency responders found the deceased owner. The fire has been extinguished, the Ministry of Internal Affairs notes. — A fire in a private residential building at another address was also extinguished.
