Turkey hosted the largest military and air force parade in the country’s history to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. About 100 ships took part in the parade, the Turkish Ministry of Defense reported on social network X on Sunday, October 29.
As part of the parade calling for 100 ships for the 100th anniversary, the Turkish Navy passed through the Bosphorus Strait. The parade included frigates, corvettes, minesweepers, landing ships, patrol vessels, boats and submarines, led by the largest Turkish warship CG Anadolu.

The parade took place under the command of the head of the Navy, Admiral Ercüment Tatlioglu. As the ships passed through the Bosphorus, they greeted President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who watched the ceremony from the Vahdettin Pavilion.
Along with the parade of ships, nine F-16 aircraft, three F-4E aircraft and helicopters of the Turkish fleet command made a demonstration flight in the sky. Turkish planes make number 100 in the sky of Istanbul.
Let’s remember that Erdogan earlier said that Hamas militants are not terrorists. He called on other countries to apply pressure to “bring the state of Israel back to its senses.”
