Ukraine exported about 9 million tons of grain

In this marketing year, Ukraine has already exported 4.4 million tons of wheat, 669 thousand tons of barley and 3.53 million tons of corn.

From the beginning of the new marketing year (2023/2024), Ukraine exported 8.72 million tons of grain and legumes. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

It was noted that Ukraine this marketing year, which began on July 7, has already exported 4.4 million tons of wheat, 669 thousand tons of barley and 3.53 million tons of corn.

In the same period of the last marketing year, Ukrainian exports of grains and legumes were 3.62 million tons more and reached 12.34 million tons. Then Ukraine exported 4.68 million tons of wheat, 1.05 million tons of barley and 6.6 million tons of corn.

Reportedly, in October 2023, Ukrainian exports reached 1.968 million tons of grains and legumes compared to 3.6 million tons last year. In addition, since July, Ukraine has exported 41.8 thousand tons of flour, compared to 34.9 thousand tons last year.

Earlier it was reported that during the operation of the new temporary sea corridor, Ukraine exported about 700 thousand tons of grain mainly to European and African countries.
