The terrorist leader said he was ready for an immediate agreement to exchange all hostages for all Hamas members in Israeli jails.
The head of the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, suggested that Israel exchange hostages for prisoners from Hamas. The BBC reported this on the evening of Sunday, October 29.
It was noted that this was Sinwar’s first comment since the fighting broke out on October 7.
Hamas leader proposes an “all for all” exchange.
“We are ready for an immediate exchange deal that includes the release of all Zionist enemy prisoners in exchange for the release of all hostages held by the resistance forces,” Sinwar said in a statement published in the official group website.
Nothing is yet known about the reaction of the Israeli authorities to this proposal.
We remind you that on the night of October 27, Israel expanded its attacks on the Gaza Strip. The IDF entered the conflict in northern Gaza with the Hamas group. And on Saturday, Tel Aviv announced it had entered a “new phase” in the war against Hamas.
