During the negotiations, Zaluzhny spoke about the situation on the battlefield.
We discussed our offensive and defensive operations, the situation in the most difficult areas, as well as the actions and possible plans of the enemy. We focused on the current needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for shells, drones and military equipment. We separately discussed the key issues of strengthening our air defense and covering critical infrastructure facilities in the autumn-winter period,” Zaluzhny wrote after the meeting on his social networks.
He thanked the allies for their unwavering support and assistance.
Earlier, Voice of America editor-in-chief Miroslava Gongadze reported that at a meeting of the Ukrainian military with representatives of the allied armies, it was agreed to extend military assistance to Ukraine, in particular, they talked about the arrival of new missiles to Ukraine with a range of 300 km. She did not specify what kind of meeting she was talking about, but referred to a representative of the Ukrainian command.
