In two weeks, Alexander Lomako visited Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland, the bureau said.
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service of Ukraine are jointly conducting searches for the acting mayor of Chernigov, Alexander Lomako. The legality of his trip abroad in May of this year is under review, SBI Communications Advisor Tatyana Sapyan said in a telethon on Thursday, October 26.
According to him, the official’s business trip was issued on May 7, 2023 in Germany.
“Now law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances of how he ended up in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland. There is information that his “vacation” is estimated to have lasted from May 7 to May 21,” said Sleep
He made sure the SBI knew what information Lomako had published about the reasons for the searches.
“But we would like to note that the searches are being conducted based on a court order dated October 6. That is, the court’s decision is earlier than the searches being conducted today. Therefore, I will not link some posts on social networks to events happening today,” added Sapyan.
Earlier on Thursday, Lomako announced the searches. In his opinion, they are allegedly connected with his publication in a social network about the responsibility for the drama theater tragedy that occurred in Chernigov on August 19 due to the Russian missile attack.
As you know, on that day an exhibition of drones was held at the Chernigov Drama Theater. Local authorities said they did not give permission for this event.
It was also known that on September 5, Lomako’s apartment was searched. They were then executed by the SBU. No results reported.
