Thus, in the Donetsk region, a landing force from Nikolaev destroyed nine units of Russian equipment. Among the destroyed were five enemy tanks and four infantry fighting vehicles. The command of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on October 22.

The military noted that at dawn, units of the Russian army began to storm the positions of the maroon berets. The enemy used smoke to achieve the effect of complete surprise.

Ukrainian reconnaissance noticed the advance of the enemy column in time, and the artillery of the DShV began to strike the enemy.

Let us recall that during the full-scale Russian invasion, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 293 thousand 830 Russian occupiers. On October 21 alone, 980 Russian soldiers, officers and mercenaries were killed.
