Speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Yuriy Ignat spoke about this on air at a national telethon, the Ukrinform agency reports.

“We expect that the first group of F-16 pilots, already training in flight simulators today, will move into the cockpit of a combat training aircraft in the near future,” he noted. – So, we are at the stage of transferring to a combat aircraft. Flights will be with an instructor, which will culminate in solo piloting after this training.

According to Ignat, partners note that Ukrainian pilots are quickly mastering the training program. The speaker noted that this was facilitated by the homework that the pilots completed before going to study.
