Russian saboteurs are most often detected by border guards on the Ukrainian border in the Sumy region. Less often – in the Kharkov and Chernigov regions.

Representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko spoke about this on air at a national telethon, the RBC-Ukraine agency reports.
More such cases (attempts by the DRG to break through the border – ed.) are recorded on the border with Russia – within the Sumy region, periodically within the Kharkov region, recently less in the Chernigov region, he noted. — Actually, the DRGs are those groups that are trying to expose the locations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, where the units of the State National Guard Service, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the National Guard are located.
Demchenko also noted the threat of the DRG to local residents.
The saboteurs open fire on cars moving towards the border. They don’t know whether it’s military or civilian,” he noted.
The speaker of the State National Security Service added that the situation along the border with Belarus remains under control.
There are no attempts to penetrate the DRG or escalate the situation. Because near our border we do not record the movements of either equipment or personnel of any units,” he noted.
