The European Union and the United States are ready to help Ukraine develop a Ukraine Plan, which will become the basis for the country’s recovery in the next four years. A document with a list of reforms and priorities for recovery will help bring Ukraine’s accession to the EU closer.

This is stated in a statement issued following the EU-US summit held on October 20.
The United States and the European Union on Friday confirmed their readiness to support Ukraine “as long as it takes,” in particular in the development of the “Ukraine Plan,” a document listing reforms and recovery priorities.
As co-chair with Ukraine of the Interagency Donor Coordination Platform, we are working with Ukraine to develop its Ukraine Plan, which is part of its European path,” the statement said.
The plan should include reforms in the economy, the rule of law and democratization, as well as assistance for recovery and reconstruction. US and EU leaders stressed that they will continue to provide Kyiv with funding to achieve these goals – in particular, protecting, repairing and rebuilding its energy sector in accordance with EU standards.
“We recognize Ukraine’s commitment and progress in implementing reforms and emphasize the strategic importance of the EU accession process,” the authors of the statement add.
Let us remind you that within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program, Ukraine will receive 50 billion euros over the next four years for reconstruction purposes.
