Russia carried out a mixed missile attack on the night of October 21. That night, during the shelling of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers used “complex tactics of very mixed attacks.” In particular, for the first time the Ukrainian military observed the simultaneous launch of cruise missiles and spacecraft.

As Natalya Gumenyuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, pointed out during the telethon, the Ukrainian military had never observed the simultaneous launch of cruise missiles and air bombs before. According to her, there is an intensification of tactical aviation, the use of ground-based missile systems and missile launches together with spacecraft.
“This is clearly an attempt by the enemy to launch a missile strike as effectively as possible for themselves, because they know that we cannot work on the KABs,” she stated.
That night, complex tactics of very mixed attacks were used – almost simultaneously, tactical aviation sent guided bombs to front-line territories and cruise missiles of the X-59 type were sent to subsequent territories of the second echelon of training, for example, Krivoy Rog, Nikolaev region, and attack drones were used.
Everything was simultaneously aimed at depleting the air defense and achieving maximum results, Gumenyuk added, noting that. The main focus of the enemy, apparently, was in the air.
