He announced this on October 19 on his Facebook page.
I accept the new position of head of the press and information department of the Ministry of Defense. New tasks, new ambitious direction, huge responsibility. I thank the Minister of Defense for believing in me and my team! “Total victory!” he wrote on Facebook.
Illarion Pavlyuk is from Skadovsk, Kherson region. He is the author of the bestsellers “I See You Are Interested in Darkness,” “White Ash,” “The Dance of the Mischievous,” as well as documentaries such as “Nation Code,” “Ordinary Zombies. How lies work” and “Zombies 2. Brainwashing”.
In 2015, Pavlyuk fought in the Donbass, and after the start of a full-scale invasion, he ended up in the GUR unit.
In March 2023, Pavlyuk represented the Ministry of Defense channel Army TV. According to him, the content should have been prepared by media workers who serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He described the channel format as Discovery Military.
