There are more than 100 full-time and part-time priests at the front in Ukraine. More than 50 more people were trained.
More than 50 priests attended a training and methodological meeting about organizing work with religious soldiers during the war in Ukraine. This was announced by the chief military priest of the Russian Federation, Archpriest Dimitry Vasilenkov, RosSMI reports.
It will be noted that 26 priests attended the meeting in St. Petersburg, and about 28 priests in Rostov-on-Don. About 30 people will cook in Moscow.
According to the head of the Synodal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate for liaison with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomir, there are more than 100 full-time and part-time priests at the front.
We remind you that the Russian Orthodox Church is planning to create a “forge of personnel” for the occupied territories.
It was previously reported that the Russian Orthodox Church had sent its priests to the occupied territories.
