This was discussed during his press conference following his visit to the DPRK, Russian media reported.
“I would (recommend – ed.),” said the Russian minister, answering questions from journalists whether he would recommend that citizens vacation in North Korea.
According to Lavrov, North Korea is a close neighbor and long-time partner of Russia.
The only opinion is that the progressive development of bilateral relations meets the interests of our states,” he said.
Lavrov arrived in North Korea yesterday, October 18. He held a more than hour-long meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-in and also met with North Korea’s foreign minister, according to media reports. What Lavrov and Ying discussed was not disclosed.
