Pakistan’s Ababeel missile can deliver both conventional and nuclear warheads.
Pakistan successfully test-fired Ababeel medium-range solid-fuel ballistic missile. This was reported by the press service of the country’s Ministry of Defense.
It was noted that during the tests, various systems and technical parameters of the Ababeel missile, “intended to strengthen strategic stability in the region,” were evaluated.
The Ababeel solid-fuel ballistic missile was developed in Pakistan in response to neighboring India’s development of interceptor missiles. Its range is up to 2200 km, the first test took place in 2017.
The missile can carry both conventional and nuclear monoblock warheads, and can also be equipped with a separate main body with individual guidance units.
Let’s recall that in 2020, Pakistan successfully tested the Hatf-3 surface-to-surface ballistic missile.
