As part of a joint project between the Ministry of Health and the World Bank, a total of 467 generators will be distributed to the regions through the international organization Crown Agents.
42 high-power generators (150-264 kW), purchased as part of cooperation with the World Bank, are distributed to Ukrainian hospitals and medical schools. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
Generators are distributed in Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Ternopil, Khmelnitsky, Luhansk, Volyn, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Sumy, Zaporozhye, Lviv, Kiev, Cherkassy regions and the city of Kiev.
They will power operating rooms, intensive care units, oxygen stations and other critical equipment.
As stated by the Ministry of Health, the generators are delivered according to the current needs of each region.
