As Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko wrote, we are talking about Zhelezny, New York, Northern (Bakhmutsky district), and Yampolye, Torsky, Zarechny, Orekhovatka, Nikanorovka, Malinovka, Tikhonovka, Vasyutinsky, Rai-Aleksandrovka (Kramatorsk district).
In total, 345 children and their relatives were saved.
On September 27, authorities reported that all children were evacuated from five settlements in the Zaporozhye region.
Deputy Chairman of the Zaporozhye OV Evgeniy Mironenko spoke about the evacuation. According to him, 59 children and their families were taken from the city of Gulyaypole, the villages of Preobrazhenka, Yegorovka and Novopavlovka in the Pologovsky district, as well as the village of Stepnogorsk in the Vasilyevsky district.
